The Manager of Technology provides direct supervision of the broadcast engineering & systems engineering technical support teams. This position is responsible for the daily management of existing systems & technologies as well as the deployment of new technologies to enhance our capabilities.
The role oversees the technical support, upgrades, projects, and sustainability for broadcast critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing critical infrastructure, preferably within the industry. This position will work closely with the nearby Philadelphia Regional Sports Network (RSN), supporting the alignment of the triopoly’s goals, objectives, and technology initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily management of team operations such as scheduling, performance reviews, and timecard approval.
- Manage technical solutions across all broadcast systems including both SDI and ST-2110 IP video infrastructures, encode / decode platforms, live production systems, news gathering tools, editorial tools, asset management, distribution and transmission systems.
