What you’ll do:
This position requires engineer to take on responsibilities to support, manage, improve, deliver, and govern environment level break-fix incidents & updates on SAP HANA Appliances infrastructure. This includes contributing to organization's vision and SAP architecture to stay compliant considering SAP roadmap for various products and technical infrastructure. You will in this role be part of a global team and work with our global stakeholders.The position will partner with various Functional and technical delivery teams, to deliver and continuously improve and maintain the high standards of customer experience.
What you need to bring:
The emphasis at this level will be to provide technical support to customers and begin to develop product internals and understand overall system interaction. Able to solve common and complex problems with little assistance from senior technical staff. The candidate understands product usage and configuration and applies basic principles and concepts of problem solving and technical troubleshooting. The individual clearly shows the ability to diagnose problems. They will use programming / debugging skills. Demonstrates analytical, debugging, and problem-solving techniques. The Specialist will begin to understand principles and concepts of the overall Linux & ESX system architecture and will have the ability to understand several products in a functional area involving usage, configuration, and interaction with other products.
Need to have a thorough knowledge of VMware ESX and related technologies.
