Engineering Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the continuous improvement and management of the equipment to the highest standard of safety and quality. Develop tool metrics to analyze equipment performance and reliability. Oversee maintenance and repair of equipment to support production goals; plans PMs (priority, scheduling, performance, documentation, reliability). Serve as team member on process-directed teams to represent equipment ownership on multiple tool sets. Participate in complex machine failure mode analyses, providing advanced technical investigation and troubleshooting. Provide equipment redesign ideas to improve capabilities of existing equipment. Develop and maintain cost of ownership program for each tool and utilizes program to provide cost reduction opportunities. Develop improved processes to increase capability. Monitor/lead KPIs within the department. Own/lead Total Productivity Maintenance tasks. Manage purchase orders for spare parts, equipment upgrades, and service. Maintain and add controlled documentation for corrective and preventative maintenance procedures. Make decisions about whether a risk is worth the outcome. Communicate information to senior leadership within and external to the department through presentations. (Multiple Openings)

Skills and Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field; and 60 months of experience in the job offered.

Requires 24 months of experience involving the following:
1. Six Sigma (Lean Manufacturing), PFMEA, DFM;
2. Manufacturing drawings and designing;
3. 3D modeling, prototyping, quality, and test plan;
4. Process Integration;
5. General semiconductor wafer processing and engineering practices;
6. Throughput Enhancement;
7. Risk Management; and
8. Kaizen and Cost-Effective Manufacturing Process.
