Summary: The objective of this work is to provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) and limited non-A&AS support and expertise to assist the Standoff Munitions Application Center (SMAC) component of Joint-Global Strike Operations Center (J-GSOC) forces at Barksdale AFB, LA, along with other areas/locations CONUS and OCONUS, including deployed locations.

This position is anticipated to start September 12th, 2024.

Job Description

  • Plan, monitor and track specified SMAC scheduling commitments, and points of contact for all scheduled events and recommend changes to same to conserve Government resources and remain within established funding constraints.
  • Maintain and coordinate the SMAC calendar on both classified and unclassified systems and ensuring that all security and logistical requirements are met including visit requests and foreign clearance requirements for all SMAC travelers.
  • Ensure all visit/travel security requests are processed/verified in a timely manner.
  • Prepare tracking reports of expiration/reinvestigation due dates of SMAC personnel security clearances.
  • Assist in creating/processing required documents for and scheduling of SMAC personnel to receive CAC, security badge, and network access.
  • Monitor and track security training for all SMAC personnel. Providing security training/briefings as needed.
  • Maintain, track, and ensure security compliance for all SMAC programs and personnel for annual inspections.
  • Track and ensure security credentialing for all SMAC site visitors.
  • Maintain, track, and ensure alarm letters are updated as well as maintain/schedule alarm combination changes as required.
  • Assist primary security manager with duties as directed

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Must maintain a TS-SCI Clearance.

Must possess the following:

  • Three (3) years of relevant experience with exercise and planning conference administration, policies and procedures to develop an adequate training program.
  • One (1) year of relevant experience with Air Force security management including using the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) or current/similar system such as Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
  • One (1) year of relevant experience with Air Force inspection management systems such as Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT).
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience tracking program expenditures, formulating planning assumptions and forecasting outcomes.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience planning allocation of air assets or operations on a tactical or operational level.
  • One (1) year of relevant experience creating, managing, tracking and reporting on schedules affecting mission accomplishment and travel logistics.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience utilizing and applying DoD, AF and MAJCOM directives, concepts, procedures, guidance, and policy.

Prefer relevant experience at an Air and Space Operations Center (AOC).
