The House of Commons Digital Services and Real Property is looking to staff the Digital Accessibility Specialist (Senior Digital Product Developer) position.
As the Digital Accessibility Specialist (Senior Digital Product Developer) you will support the Digital Accessibility Program by implementing strategies and visions to enhance digital accessibility compliance and foster a culture of inclusivity within the House of Commons. This role will involve working closely with various teams to ensure digital products meet accessibility standards and providing expert guidance on user experience (UX) design to improve accessibility for all users such as WCAG 2.2. This role will also collaborate with testers, developers, designers, and content creators to integrate accessibility best practices and act as a primary contact for accessibility inquiries, providing solutions to challenges.
