We are an active acquirer of DFMs and IFA’s in the UK, following an aggressive growth trajectory, having trebled in size from the initial acquisition of “GPP” under two years ago. Our strategy sees strong organic growth within the near term coupled with significantly larger acquisitions. We currently manage ten entities attracting taxation, mostly UK-orientated with exposure to Jersey and South Africa.

The role

The Senior HR Advisor, will be responsible for supporting and coordinating a wide variety of HR activities, as well as providing effective human resources guidance and support to the business

  • Advise and support on employee relations activities, including absence, capability and performance, all types of leave, grievance, disciplinary and restructuring.
  • Provide HR support and note taking at formal meetings, hearings and appeals as necessary.
  • Support with recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and interviewing.
  • Conducting employee onboarding and offboarding process
  • Draft relevant HR documentation/employment contract as distributed by HR operations lead.
  • Implementing and administering human resources policies and procedures
  • Supporting employee wellbeing initiatives.
  • Supporting HRBP’s on local talent and learning and development activities
  • Assist with BI annual reward and salary review process.
  • Escalate reward and benefit queries to the Payroll and benefits manager
  • Assist and work closely with managers on the Performance management review and process and escalate to relevant BP as needed.
  • Assist on employee engagement initiatives.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement in efficiency.
  • This role will require travel to our offices across the UK and potentially internationally.
  • To carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required.
  • Adhere to consumer duty.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a true HR generalist role across all areas of HR within a financial services business
  • Strong ER experience
  • Experience with integrations/ TUPE is highly advantageous
  • Ability to work autonomously within the framework of the applicable policies
  • Knowledge of employment law
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong employment law experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player with a can do attitude
