Financial Planning & Analysis

Purpose:

We're excited to welcome a skilled Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional to our corporate headquarters in Taipei. In this role, you’ll work closely with the FP&A Manager on a variety of regular and special projects, providing essential financial insights to support business decisions. This includes tasks like monthly P&L forecasting, analyzing post-closing P&L statements, planning annual budgets, and conducting simulation analyses for major customer tenders.

Key Responsibilities:

In this global position, you'll dive into analyzing monthly profit and loss statements, creating P&L forecasts, and developing performance reports that showcase our global financial standing. You'll play a key role in our annual budget planning, conduct simulation analyses for major international customer tenders, and develop financial models from scratch, leveraging your expertise and creative thinking to offer actionable insights. Additionally, you'll handle raw transaction data from multiple systems, regularly updating analytical reports.

This role offers an exciting chance to work closely with operations, sales, and supply chain teams. You'll be actively involved in the global landscape, dealing with market fluctuations, adapting to evolving transport regulations, and managing the intricacies of supply chains. Your contributions will be crucial in shaping and optimizing our financial strategies across diverse markets.

Education & Technical Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling is a plus.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Background & Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, planning, and analysis.
• Experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry is preferred but not essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills, capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
• Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Quick learner with a proactive attitude, eager to embrace new challenges and opportunities.
