We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to oversee the development and execution of parts of our health ingredient portfolio, anchored by our blockbuster joint health ingredient, UC-IIยฎ. But, we're not seeking your average Product Manager. We're seeking an emerging leader that can develop and capture a vision that helps propel our division to global dominance in the health and wellness space. You will spearhead the strategic decisions that enable and leverage the value proposition, value messaging, go to market strategies and financial performance of UC-IIยฎ as part of a bigger PM team that covers a range of health and nutrition products, platforms and ingredients. You'll craft the roadmap for global growth, forging partnerships, and unlocking new markets and business models worldwide to driving profitability and enable the greater CHI mission.

Job Requirements

  • Communicate effectively and persuasively across all levels of the organization, securing executive buy-in and cross-functional alignment for strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally, including customers, key opinion leaders, and industry partners.
  • Develop and implement a robust product lifecycle management strategy to optimize product performance and maximize market potential throughout its lifecycle.
  • Develop a data-driven product roadmap that maximizes ROI, leveraging market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive financial model to track and forecast product profitability and market share performance.
  • Act as the owner of the P&L, ensure overall financial performance of the product line as it contributes to the greater divisional and corporate goals, including revenue, profitability, and market share, and make adjustments as necessary to achieve financial targets.
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies to optimize profitability via product development, sourcing and production processes while maintaining quality standards.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Lead Explosive Growth: Lead the charge to drive market penetration and revenue growth for our entire health ingredients portfolio to achieve and maintain industry-leading market share. Develop strategic expansion plans for our entire portfolio, unlocking new markets and applications globally.
  • Ensure Scientifically-Backed Dominance: Become a champion for robust claim development, often times through clinical research. Design and oversee studies to establish new claims and pave the way for international market entry.
  • Be an Innovation Catalyst: Think outside the box! Identify unique market opportunities and forge strategic partnerships to expand our reach and disrupt the status quo.
  • Champion a culture of innovation within the team, fostering creative problem-solving and exploring new technologies to enhance product development.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development, Marketing and R&D teams to identify new product opportunities that align with market needs and strategic goals.
  • Be a champion of the scientific validation process for CHI's ingredients, working cross-functionally to guide clinical research strategies to establish new, robust claims and support global markets entry.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the products, including clinical trials, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing processes
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify emerging consumer needs and opportunities for product innovation.
  • Analyze and interpret market research data to gain insights into customer preferences, competitor strategies, and market trends.
  • Develop and implement product launch strategies that generate excitement and drive market adoption for new and existing ingredients.
  • Lead cross-functional teams comprised of marketing, sales, R&D, and regulatory experts to ensure seamless product launch and market success.
  • Lead the development of comprehensive technical content for sales training and customer education, ensuring clear communication of product benefits.
  • Oversee the development and execution of promotional campaigns to raise brand awareness and drive product sales across target markets.
  • Collaborate with the Quality and Regulatory teams to understand and develop technical content for sales training and direct to customer utilization
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies and tactics that drive growth and market share
  • Work closely with regional sales and business development teams to ensure they are fully trained and can articulate CHI's value proposition. Look to support more complex customer transactions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the product line remains competitive in the market. Seek new a partnerships that can better expose and sell CHI's portfolio
  • Craft a compelling value proposition for each ingredient across diverse markets, highlighting unique benefits and scientific backing.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements for all target markets and ensure product compliance with relevant regulations.

Education Requirements:

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the location of the successful candidate, qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and job-related knowledge.
