KAMS has an opportunity for a Heavy Maintenance Planner in Kaunas. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operation of the planning department, costs of ground damage to aircraft.

The Heavy Maintenance Planner will be responsible for: producing check planning reports on all heavy maintenance checks, managing facility wide manpower staffing levels and progressing current and future heavy maintenance projects. Working with ground damage project HM planner will investigate different incidents and costs liaise with internal team and external parties.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Plan and coordinate maintenance flow;
  • Track progress, generate reports;
  • Creation and monitoring of heavy maintenance check schedules;
  • Maintain and optimise manpower availability;
  • Assist with planning and heavy maintenance projects;
  • Implement new planning procedures and processes;
  • Motivate team members to complete tasks on schedule;
  • Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports;
  • Administrate ground damage incidents;
  • Liaise with internal teams and external parties.

Requirements

  • Good English skills (speaking & writing);
  • Ability to work independently and without direct supervision;
  • Excellent computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) particularly in Excel. Knowledge of AMOS, SmartSheet advantageous;
  • Attention to detail. Work with a high level of individual responsibility;
  • Aircraft/Mechanical experience/knowledge is an advantage;
  • Good organizational, analytical & time management skills essential;
  • Ability to work within a dynamic environment and be able to adapt quickly to changing situations;
  • Planning background or strong technical background with a proven record of problem solving and results;
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise directly with supervisors and managers.
