Eurosafe UK is the specialist health and safety and fire-safety division of Tersus Consultancy and one of the leading health and safety consultants in the country. We offer a comprehensive range of services from our offices in Clifton Moor, York and also around the UK from our regional offices. As a dynamic and innovative company offering exciting opportunities for progression, we are seeking to appoint a Safety Department Administrator able to work with our high profile Clients within our CDM, H&S and Fire Risk Department. The role will be a 37.5 hour week, working Monday to Friday with a salary of up to £24,000.

Job purpose: To work alongside the CDM Consultants/Health and Safety File Coordinators/Fire Consultants to provide administrative support.

Requirements

What will you be doing?

  • Type and check CDM and Fire Dept documents using Microsoft Office Package;
  • Process and issue site safety inspection reports, Pre-construction Information and other CDM dept documents;
  • Process fire risk assessment reports and allocate to the relevant Validator;
  • Maintain and keep records of all work completed;
  • Complete any task given by the Safety Department;
  • General Admin duties including photocopying, scanning etc.;
  • Upload information to Ultimate Manager, a web based software solution which allows Clients to manage their property portfolio or construction projects online;
  • Maintenance of the ISO 9001:2015 system e.g. recording of non-conformances;
  • You may be required to carry out other duties in line with your job status and level of responsibility, in order to meet the needs of the business.

What do you need?

  • Previous experience in an administrative role;
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills;
  • The ability to work under own initiative;
  • The ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines;
  • A good level of IT skills.

Desirable:

  • Previous knowledge of the construction industry.
