We are looking for driven and enthusiastic Associates with a range of experience in complex disputes and / or class actions to provide excellent support to the Senior Associates and Partners in our Australian office . The opportunities will range from drafting documents to partaking in the management of case strategy and maintaining communications with external stakeholders, clients and counsel to implement various legal strategies.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with the Australian Partners in shaping the strategy, culture, and litigation pipeline for the Australian office and to join a dynamic and innovative team dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the Australian legal landscape and globally.

Requirements

  • Assist in facilitating workstreams in class action projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to exceptional quality standards.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to support senior practitioners in strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, anticipating their needs and providing consistently exceptional service.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Preparation of court documents under the guidance of senior partners.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute meaningfully to a supportive team environment.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, assisting in the implementation of innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

About You

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the legal industry.
  • Proven ability to support the management and delivery of complex class action projects and / or complex disputes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience in plaintiff law is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant legal software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
