About the team
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Systems Engineer.

The tracking team consists of Systems Engineers that develop, maintain and evaluate the tracking building block on functional level. The tracking building block is generally the last part of the radar processing chain, and every search radar that leaves the Thales factory is armed with this building block

About your future job

Tracking or dynamic state estimation is an important element of sensor processing and can be described as ‘the processing of sensor measurements obtained from objects in order to estimate the states of these objects. The team focusses on the development and implementation of generic algorithms that can support a variety of systems.

Activities include among others:

  • prototyping and analysis of tracking, classification and prediction algorithms;
  • modelling of sensors, objects and their environments;
  • validation and performance analysis of the tracking product and new algorithms;
  • requirement engineering and stakeholder discussions.

Why you'd be a good match

  • master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar;

  • affinity with algorithm development, statistics or MBSE;

  • knowledge of Matlab/Python and C;

  • you identify with a team player having good communication skills;

  • you are able to work with other teams (e.g. software and test engineers);

  • fluency in spoken and written Dutch and English.
