Sr Payroll Accountant

RoseRyan, a leading accounting firm located in Silicon Valley, is looking for a detail-oriented Sr Payroll Accountant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our diverse clientele.

As a Sr Payroll Accountant, you will not only handle payroll calculations but also partner with clients to align payroll functions with their business needs. We pride ourselves on our client-centric approach, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and enter in payroll journal entries and accruals in Yardi, in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Reconcile vendor invoices .
• Prepare and enter accrual and journal entries
• Assist with audit for internal/external teams.
• Maintain payroll records accurately and confidentially.
• Stay informed about legislative changes that affect payroll operations.
• Process payroll tax filings and related documentation, including W-2s and 1099s.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of payroll accounting experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Yardi, UKG, ADP Paychex, or similar).
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Hourly rate DOE $60-$70/hr
