Robbins Recruiting has partnered with a design and installation firm out of Miami that is seeking an Operations Director for one of their emerging business segments.

The Operations Director will plan and oversee the daily operations of a dynamic team of professionals, facilitating communication and synergy within the company. The individual in this role will work with cross-functional teams to solve complex business issues involving order implementation, operational compliance, sales and inventory forecasting.

Job Duties:

· Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline employees.

· Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.

· Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends.

· Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiating corrective actions and create sales plan.

· Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.

· Responsible for all department managers and supervisors, with review/approval responsibility for all sales operations employees.

· Run a safe, injury/accident free workplace.

· Establish contracts and pricing and ensuring proper maintenance and serving as primary liaison with utilities and local government agencies, such as fire, police, health, and safety agencies.

· Manage relationships with key operations vendors and Clients.

· Track vendor pricing, rebates, and service levels

· Work closely with Holding CEO and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.

· Travel to vendors, customers, and events as needed.

Qualifications:

· Must have 8-10 years of relevant leadership experience

· Strong knowledge of the appliances industry

· Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management

· Proven track record of leading teams of 10+ employees

· Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to travel 20%-25%

· Preferably bilingual (English/Spanish)

$130,000 - $150,000 a year
