About the Role:

As a Product Manager at Maersk, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of ocean transportation. Our HAZ/DG products are designed to provide customers the ability to ship their goods across the world. Your role is to run the HAZ/DG product portfolio while developing new features, components and products enabling customer to enjoy our products while beating our competitors. You will do so by collaborating with commercial, equipment, ocean market teams, Network and product and many more. In this role you will be held overall accountable for the HAZ/DG PnL – in addition you will be expected to spend 30-40% of you time, operating as a portfolio manager for the full of TbM Solutions Ocean. This entails establishing and running the framework and operating system for all x-product activities, our functional goals and how they tie together while collaborating across the team with regards to the OP process.

Responsibilities:

• Product Development: Spearhead the product development process from concept to launch, including market research, competitive analysis, and managing timelines.
• Product Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company’s vision and market opportunities.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to set product direction, understand market trends, and align with strategic goals.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure product success in the market.
• Product P&L Management: Drive product profitability by managing the P&L, ensuring revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and investigate product performance metrics to guide strategy and make data-driven decisions.
• Budgeting and forecasting: With market team, verticals and other relevant stakeholders, establish global demand expectations

What You’ll Bring:

• Solid product management skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Experience collaborating with Engineers and Designers
• Ability to articulate business value clearly
• Experience facing customers and understanding product inputs
• Minimum 2 years of product management experience / Trade Experience
• Proven experience translating customer needs into engineering requirements
