Description:
Achieve a personal sales target and be accountable for personal sales plan
and pipeline;
Determine or support to determine the overall sales and segmentation
strategy and opportunity pursuit plans to maximise sales effectiveness and
leverage Mercer’s local and global resources;
Partner effectively with Mercer’s consulting network, marketing and
relationship management as well as Marsh to achieve the sales target;
Identify opportunities and develop them from start to closure, including
coordination of Mercer’s tender/proposal process;
Exhibit strong discipline on managing personal pipeline and ensuring that the
pipeline remains fresh and relevant;
Contribute to creating compelling value propositions for the market and where
necessary, for a specific client, drawing on all of the internal resources and
ensuring the clients’ needs are understood and communicated back to the
business;
Ensure that compliance in the use of Mercer’s client relationship management
system to ensure accurate data for senior management to track and monitor
sale performance;
Represent Mercer in the market on employee health and benefit matters,
when required
Participate in regional sales professionals development activities aimed at
enhancing our effectiveness and growth around the region;
Be proficient in and a champion of Mercer tools and processes, including
MercerForce
