About The Team

The Application Assurance team is part of Datacom’s Application Services. About the Role

The Product Delivery Manager role is to ensure that all contracted services are delivered to clients in accordance with contracts. The role provides a single point of contact for clients in relation to the provision of contracted services and is responsible for aligning the customers’ requirements and expectations with Datacom’s service levels. The key responsibility of the Product Deliver Manager is governance across all areas of their services including service management, incident and change management, continual service improvement and customer satisfaction as well as playing a key role in ensuring the highest level of operational service delivery. The role will have line management responsibility and report into the Practice Lead - Application Assurance.

The core objectives and responsibilities of the Product Deliver Manager will include:

As the role requires security clearance only NZ Citizens, or Permanent Residents that have 5 years residence in NZ will be considered for the role.

What you’ll bring

We are looking to build New Zealand’s leading services team and need someone that shares the same vision. You are thoroughly versed in Service Management or Support in a large-scale and diverse environment of incident management, escalation procedures and related disciplines. Previous experience as a service, project or delivery manager would be beneficial, along with financial management and commercial awareness.

Most important thing for us is a great fit with the team, someone that is curious by nature with a can-do attitude. Some more “official” things that we would love for you to bring:

  • Understanding of service management methodologies including ITIL v4.
  • Sound understanding of technical concepts and frameworks & Product development lifecycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent customer relationship building and management skills
  • Strong influencing and persuasive ability
  • Strong business acumen
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

Minimum 5 years’ experience in the IT industry in a relevant role including:

  • Service Manager
  • Account Management
  • Project management
  • Technical Team Lead
  • IT Operations Manager
